“Something is amiss with the body of Lady Hai!” people exclaimed. “From where do these
flowers come?”
Days later, a representative from the guard battalion reported that the consort’s body was not made of flesh. It was filled with roses. The Emperor himself inspected the body and confirmed this fact.
At that moment, from very far away, a figure arose decorated in light. It was Consort Hai.
